          Fire - 1

I would like to congratulate all personnel whose names are listed in the bulletin. May this achievement motivate all LSFD personnel to continue to be dedicated and professional. Remember, recognition is not about who is most visible, but about who continues to carry out their duties when no one is watching.

___Welcome to Meet the Employee edition February 2026! At the beginning of this happy end of the year 2026, we from the Public Affairs team had the opportunity to interview Sub-Fire Officer who is considered active in the Los Santos Fire Department, namely Attending Physician Cenesta Lovanka.

What motivated you to become a member of the Fire Department, and how did you feel at the time of graduation?
My motivation for joining the Fire Department is because I want to and am interested in helping the community directly, especially in emergency situations that require a quick and appropriate response. I want to be part of a team that not only works but also dedicates itself as the front line for the safety of others.

At graduation, my feelings were mixed with pride, emotion, and gratitude. All the training, pressure, and challenges I went through finally paid off. It was a very meaningful moment because it marked the beginning of my journey as an official member of the Fire Department.
What experiences have you had at the Los Santos Fire Department since you joined until now?
The most valuable experience for me during my time at LSFD was how I directly experienced the true meaning of teamwork. During every emergency call, I was always accompanied by a supportive, alert, and quick-thinking team. No one worked alone; everyone complemented and supported each other.

Additionally, I gained experience in high-pressure situations where decisions had to be made quickly and accurately. In such conditions, the team's support was deeply felt. Colleagues always ensured each other's safety, both physically and mentally.
How do you, as a SFO Of The Month, handle all the difficulties and problems in the Fire Department?
As SFO of the Month, I strive to remain calm when facing any problem. I believe that every difficulty must be faced with a cool head, open communication, and good coordination with the team.
I also always try to find solutions, not blame the circumstances. Evaluation and learning after each incident are key to ensuring that the same mistakes are not repeated.
What are your goals or aspirations during your career in this department?
My goal during my career in the Fire Department is to continue to develop into a more competent and reliable member of the team. I want to make a real contribution to every task I undertake, whether it be handling emergencies or assisting my teammates. In addition, I also hope to continue improving my skills so that one day I can take on greater responsibilities in this department.
How do you feel after being chosen as SFO Of The Month this time?
I am very grateful and proud to be selected as SFO of the Month. This award is a great motivation for me to continue giving my best in every task I undertake. However, for me, this achievement is not only the result of my own work, but also thanks to the support and cooperation of all members of the Fire Department.
Was there someone who encouraged and motivated you to be selected as SFO of the Month?
Of course there is. Many colleagues in the Fire Department always give me support and motivation. Both seniors and fellow members always provide guidance, assistance, and encouragement to continue developing. Their support means a lot to me and is one of the reasons why I continue to strive to perform at my best.
Which division are you interested in and why did you choose to be interested in or even want to join that division?
My preferred division is the Recruitment Division, as I am interested in contributing to the process of recruiting new members to the Fire Department. I want to help find and develop members who are highly dedicated, disciplined, and able to work well in a team. In my opinion, the Recruitment Division plays an important role in maintaining the quality and future of the department.
What are your hopes for the future of the Fire Department, and what message would you like to convey to the members of the department?
My hope for the future of the Fire Department is that it will continue to grow, become more solid, and always provide the best service to the community. I also hope that all members can continue to maintain solidarity, respect each other, and always work together in every situation they face. My message to all members is to remain enthusiastic in carrying out their duties, continue to learn from every experience, and always prioritize teamwork.
