The authority to sign and validate the certificate lies with the Chief Fire Officer.
Certificates are only issued to participants who:
- Have completed the Basic Life Support training in full, as determined by the Training Division.
- Have successfully passed both theoretical and practical evaluations in accordance with LSFD standards.
LSFD reserves the right to refuse, delay, or revoke the certificate if participants fail to meet the established criteria.
